Pet Rock Lab
for Android ยท early test version
On an iPhone? The app is Android only for now. Pet Rock Lab works in Safari, and walks count while the page is open.
What it adds
- Walks count with your phone locked in your pocket (the phone's own step counter). Start a walk, put the phone away, end it when you're back.
- A notification while you walk, with your steps.
- Home-screen widgets: your rock, today's steps with a Walk button, your Home, and just your rock on your wallpaper (alive: it blinks, and hops when you tap it).
- Everything else is the same Lab, and the same account and rocks.
Installing it
- Tap Download for Android, then open the file when it's done.
- Your phone asks whether to allow installs from your browser: allow it (just this once is fine).
- Tap Install, then open Pet Rock Lab and sign in.
- For widgets: press and hold an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets, and find Pet Rock Lab.
It's an early test version. It isn't on the Google Play Store yet, so your phone will warn you that it's from an unknown source, and it may still have rough edges. Updates come from this page.
